New posters! And framing suggestions...

I've just released four new high-quality poster prints at just £9 each - the collection is growing! Three of my popular love-themed 'ink' designs are included in the set: Loving Feline, You're Purrfect and Sweetheart. As these are a commercially-standard A3 size (precisely 29.7 x 42.0cm / 11.69 x16.53 inches, or 30x40cm / 12x16inches if you prefer to round things up), it's quite easy to find affordable frames and mounts for these posters yourself (eg try IKEA). The other new poster is 'Rita's Cats', below, featuring four fluffy ragdolls and a green-eyed tabby mog:

Copper and gold leaf on 'By Your Side'

'By Your Side' features a blue tabby with gittering gold leaf eyes next to a fluffy gold kitten. It has a luxurious background of resin-coated copper leaf.  Copper leaf turns out to be a bit trickier to work with than gold leaf - it seems harder to transfer from the wax paper onto the canvas. But the effect is stunning, and I particularly like the contrast against blue colours, like in this painting. I have coated this with clear resin too for an extra tactile and glossy effect.Painted on 6x4" canvas in 2016; signed, varnished and unframed. Can be hung framed or unframed, or stood...

Over 100 people kindly offered their opinion on Facebook.com/KimHaskinsArt and Instagram.com/Haskins.Kim over which print of my painting 'Purrty' was most appealing to them: the one with punchy, bright colours or the one with soft pastel hues? Around 30% opted for the latter, which means that a print of 'Purrty' in her most vivid form will be trialled as a poster print and greetings card which will go on sale on the website on 20 June 2016.
