'The Great Ooze' painting

Kim Haskins

Oil on board, 2014.

Framed as pictured.

One of a small series by me, Kim Haskins, of still life paintings featuring visceral, oozy jam using chiaroscuro to dramatic effect. I wanted to create engaging modern still life artworks that elicited a sense of both momentary pleasure and mortality - in line with the traditional spirit of memento mori.

I originally exhibited the series at an exhibition in Soho, London, alongside works by celebrated hyper-realist painter (also artistic influencer and friend!) Sarah Graham.

Payment by instalments can also be arranged at an additional cost of £5 per instalment to cover admin fees. Contact me at hello@kimhaskinsart.com with your shipping address and preferred number of instalments if you'd like to arrange this, then I will remove the painting from sale and invoice you as required.

SHIPPING INFORMATION: As this is an original artwork, please select 'SPECIAL DELIVERY' if the option is offered to you at checkout (the option may not be offered to international customers, but rest assured that the painting will always be sent using a tracked and signed courier service with appropriate insurance protection).
